Unearthly Art is Now Here

Ai-Da Robot is a humanoid robot artist.

Like the thousands that are manufactured every year.

But Ai-Da did something exceptional.

It created a painting of the eminent World War Two codebreaker Alan Turing.

And put it up for auction at Sotheby's.

It sold for $1,084,800 (£836,667) at the auction.

Meaning, now Art and Music has non-human competitors.

Apple plans to announce AI-powered wall tablet in March 2025 (A new hardware opportunity?)

Apple is reportedly developing a wall-mounted display device, codenamed J490, that will showcase its new AI platform called Apple Intelligence.

The device is expected to control smart home appliances, handle video conferencing, and use AI to navigate apps.

It may be announced as early as March 2025 and could be priced around $1,000. This move aims to compete with similar offerings from Google and Amazon in the smart home market.

If you are in the smart home and automation space, this is something that you should explore further.

Amazon developing smart eyeglasses for delivery drivers (Smart Move to Save Costs)

Amazon is working on smart eyeglasses designed to guide its delivery drivers to, around, and within buildings.

The glasses aim to replace handheld GPS devices, allowing drivers to carry more packages and potentially improving delivery efficiency.

Last-mile delivery is considered the most difficult and costly part of shipping, as drivers have to navigate through neighborhoods and apartment complexes to complete orders.

By putting navigation and logistics info literally on their faces, Amazon could shave valuable time off of routes.

TikTok is integrating with influencer shopping app LTK (New Revenue Source for Creators)

If you follow fashion creators on TikTok, then you know about LTK. The app looks something like Pinterest or Instagram, but creators can post what they’re wearing and link directly to the websites in question so viewers can buy the items, too.

TikTok and LTK have both changed online shopping by giving consumers more information about what they’re ordering — if you’re trying to figure out what size to order, for example, you can search specific items and their sizes on each respective app.

If the brand is popular enough, odds are that you’ll be able to find a creator modeling the clothes who has a similar body shape to you, making it easier to decide if you want to order the product.
